The Cowan Foundation is pleased to donate $75,000 to YMCA’s Alternative Suspension Program, representing the second installment of a three-year commitment.

The YMCA Alternative Suspension program, run by YMCAs of Québec, is a national program that supports teens who have been suspended from school. It provides them access to counseling and other support services when they are away from school, which help them cope with the challenges they’re facing and successfully integrate back to their school life when they return.

We are honoured to support this program, now being offered in Waterloo Region through YMCAs of Cambridge & Kitchener-Waterloo.
